The Scots and Scandinavians, Norsemen, have always had an affinity. Their values on social justice are alike as two peas. Unfortunately, we Scots of Celtic origins are dominated by an English, Anglo Saxon, Westminster where our values differ so much it costs our poor and needy so much every time they elect a Conservative government. Ever noticed how most English detest the other two great Nations in Europe?. I'm talking about Germany and France. Unfortunately for them they are descended from both. Their blood is mostly Norman which is basically French and Saxon which was part of what is now modern Germany. It's in complete contrast between our roots which are Irish Celtic and Norse Scandinavian. Says a lot about our makeup as opposed to that south of the border.
