I had a thought on why the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park/World were mostly grayish, brownish and dull greenish colors.

they're all female! (well when they fixed the gender changing thing from the bullfrog DNA)

think about it Dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds and reptiles and most reptiles and birds the male is brightly colorful while the female is more earthly colors.
like the male peacock is brightly colorful while the female is just brownish colors.

that's probably why some of the dinosaurs on site B were more colorful (though not full on bird like colors)

and the Buck from the second movie was more colorful than his wife. he was more greenish while his mate was more grayish.

and even thought Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie are all female and have more color than the other raptors is because they were purposely design and breed that way. but they still mostly keep an earthly color, with Blue having a stripe that makes her the easiest to spot. which is probably why it was easier to get invested in her versus her sisters. not to mention Blue is the best
